Ramadan around the World

Ramadan

Today I was going through the Tweets of all those that I follow on Twitter and The Guardian had shared a link there. It had people share pictures of how they were celebrating the advent and the month of Ramadan.

I’m putting the link up at the end of this post where you can see those pictures.

Looking at those pictures made me wonder that Muslims around the world think of this month as a celebration of their faith while many that I know (I am including myself in this lot and a huge majority of my fellow nationals) think of this month as a time where it’s all about how much and what can one eat at iftar (the breaking of fast at sunset).

Made me think how much less do we celebrate all that we have been blessed with.

Enjoy these pictures (which are stories in themselves) and enjoy Ramadan.

The article on The Guardian can be found here.
