Previously I published a post on my blog with a link to The Guardian’s website where they showed how people around the world were celebrating the holy month of Ramadan and now they have put up these pictures of Muslims from around the globe preparing for the auspicious festival of Eid-ul-Fitr and then celebrating the day itself.
Even being a religious festival, it is not celebrated the same way by Muslims across the globe (except for the Eid prayers of course).
This time, though I will put in the links at the end of the post but I will also put some pictures in here as well.
But before I do that, I wish everyone of you a very Happy Eid and pray that all remains peaceful.
Here it goes.

Bangladeshi Muslim passengers crowd the roof of a moving train on the outskirts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, heading home to celebrate Eid al-Fitr

Jerusalem, Israel: Palestinian Muslims walk next to the Dome of the Rock mosque to attend Eid al-Fitr prayers in the al-Aqsa mosque compound

Multan, Pakistan: Muslim girls show their henna-decorated hands as part of Eid-al-Fitr festival preparations

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: A worker prepares a popular traditional dish, Lemang, made of glutinous rice stuffed in a bamboo stick and cooked over a charcoal fire for the Eid al-Fitr celebration

Singapore: migrant workers from Bangladesh embrace after Hari Raya prayers at Masjid Pertempatan Melayu Sembawang, one of the last kampung (village) mosques untouched by development
